Wilde Lake had been drained prior to spring migration, and the resulting mud flats were an attraction not repeated after the dam was repaired and normal water level restored. Second photo by Richard Orr was not taken in Howard County.
While not necessary for common species, it is good to get into the habit of including photographs and recordings/spectrographs so that you do it for uncommon species that require more documentation.
