Breeding Bird Atlases in Howard County
Howard County is starting its fourth Breeding Bird Atlas in 2020.
- The first was a prototype effort in 1973-1975 to determine the feasibility of using quarterblocks.
- The second was during the First MD/DC Breeding Bird Atlas 1983-1987.
- The third was during the Second MD/DC Breeding Bird Atlas 2002-2006.
- And the fourth is now, during the Third MD.DC Breeding Bird Atlas (BBA3).
