Note the kittiwake has a thicker bill than a Bonaparte’s Gull and the “M” pattern on the kittiwake was weaker because we were seeing it in November. Joe Hanfman
While not necessary for common species, it is good to get into the habit of including photographs and recordings/spectrographs so that you do it for uncommon species that require more documentation.
