What about cancellations?
Meetings at the Robinson Nature Center are cancelled if the Howard County Government has announced government buildings are closed and will not open for the day. For other venues where a Howard County Bird Club (HCBC) event was scheduled, the cancellation will be posted on the front page of the HCBC website in a banner headline and on the website calendar. Field Trips and Workshops may be cancelled at the discretion of the leader and announced in advance when possible. THIRD ATTEMPT at “How to find owls”
I have rescheduled the workshop titled “How to find owls” to Sunday, March 1. The location is in western Howard Co. in the Patuxent River State Park. You must pre-register and class size is limited. The first session is at 9:00 AM and the second is at 1:00 PM. You must designate which session you are signing up for AND list the names of all attendees coming with you. Full details and directions will be provided before the event. If you have already registered previously and have not re-registered for this March 1 class, you need to do so. Again, limited class size, must designate which session, and provide the names of each participant. Failure to provide all the information may cost you acceptance, as others will be placed ahead of you until all info is received and slots remain in that session.
