Mid-winter Count

February 7 @ 12:00 am

LATE BREAKING – Currently conditions at the tally location do not permit safe parking and access. If conditions do not improve, we will cancel the in-person tally and just hold a Zoom session for the tally. The final decision will be made on Wednesday, Feb. 4th and it will be posted on the club website and sent to the area coordinators so they can also send emails to their counters. If it is held, you have until Thursday, Feb 5 to respond.

—————————————————————————————————————–

Meg and John Harris have agreed to host a potluck and hybrid tally rally at their home. If you plan to attend, please contact Meg by Thursday, Feb 5, indicating you will be attending – how many will be in your party, and what you will be bringing (an appetizer, side dish, dessert.) The club will provide meat lasagna and vegetarian lasagna and non-alcoholic beverages. You can reach the Harrises at mctharris@gmail.com or at 410-926-0742 via text or you can leave a voicemail if the phone is not immediately answered. If there are late changes concerning the in-person tally rally, they will notify all who have signed up and the changes will be posted on the HCBC website.

Directions:

From the Robinson Nature Center, 6692 Cedar Ln, Columbia, MD 21044, turn right onto Cedar Ln. At the first light, turn right onto Grace Dr. Follow Grace Dr to the end which is a circle and turn right onto Quiet Night Ride. Take Quiet Night Ride to the end and turn left onto Grateful Heart Gate. Information for the Zoom access will be provided to you by your area coordinator or you can send a request to Brian Moyer (bmoyer0@gmail.com) or Chuck Stirrat (stirrcr1@gmail.com).
