Conowingo Dam

Trip leader, Recorder & Photographer: Guy DiRoma Date of trip: November 15, 2025
Location: Conowingo Dam Number attending: 5
Details: It was an overcast chilly day at Conowingo Dam. There were many, many eagles, too many to count accurately in the trees across the river, on the rocks on the opposite shore and to the east of the island with the towers.  Several were also spotted in the trees behind the parking lot  Large numbers of double-crested cormorants and ring-billed gulls were also on the rocks across from the dam.  A snow goose was spotted intermixed with a group of Canada Geese.
