Safe Skies Thank You Bird Walk at Howard County Conservancy
Safe Skies (a subcommittee of the Maryland Ornithological Society) had a thank you bird walk at the Howard County Conservancy to honor the efforts of Maryland legislators Delegate Terri Hill and Senator Lam, the bird-safe building bill sponsors. Senator Lam received a “thank you” coin from Gregg Petersen, HCBC president; Delegate Hill received a “thank you” coin from Val Swan, HCBC vice president. Howard County Council member Deb Jung was among those attending.
Bird walk leader Kurt Schwarz was assisted by Gregg Petersen, David Sandler, and Val Swan. There were 12 people at the walk and celebration.
