Mount Pleasant Butterfly Trip

| Details: The walk was co-sponsored by the Howard County Conservancy and the Howard County Bird Club. The participants were split up into two groups, one led by Woody Merkle and the other led by Kevin Heffernan and Linda Hunt.
It was a overcast day for most of the walk with temperature between 83 to 86 degrees and the wind between 5 to 10 mph. The walk covered the Community Garden, the Honor’s Garden, the Tulip Poplar trail to the butterfly garden, the Old Oak trail, and the Cedar trail back to the Community Garden. Again, many Spotted Lanternflies were seen particularly in the Community Garden. |
