at Worthington Park/New Cut Landfill.

Comments: After parking at Worthington Elementary School, 31 participants made a short walk to set up chairs and a large cooler atop the grassy knoll of the former New Cut landfill, which offers a wide open vista and nearly unobstructed views of the western horizon. WEATHER: Sunset at 7:45PM. Hazy but otherwise clear sky, 85°F with high humidity, a heat index of 92°F, and a breeze of 7mph out of the SW. ROUTE: Stationary, but with a short walk by some around the adjacent chain link fence that surrounds the array of solar panels. That distance was so short and meaningfully in the same location as to warrant its inclusion as stationary.
