Dr. Chandler S. Robbins’ Mural
on Main Street, Laurel

On the side of a building next to the church where he and his family worshipped is a mural honoring Chan. Originated and commissioned by Laurel on the Patuxent, the mural was dedicated October 25, 2025. Chan’s daughter, Jane, was one of those who spoke at the dedication ceremony. Planning for the mural, creation of a campaign, and commissioning an artist was completed in a couple of months thanks to the outpouring of response by those who knew Chan.
