…such as Emy’s Meadow, Clegg Meadow, leasing scrubland for Dickcissel nests, creating Waterford Flats, and installation of a Purple Martin box and Kestrel box. Future efforts could include more pollinator meadows and grassland for nesting birds and data collection. The emphasis is on projects that enhance protection of birds and their habitat, especially in Howard County. Habitats differ depending on the species of birds and their environs.
