HCBC Meeting: An introduction to birding in the New World tropics by Dave Ziolkowski

September 12 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Central and South America offer some of the most exciting and exhilarating birding on the planet! Join us as biologist and natural historian, Dave Ziolkowski, provides an intro to the region and its fascinating wildlife, describing why every nature lover should want to go there and giving tips for an easy, successful trip.

Dave is the director of the USGS’s North American Breeding Bird Survey and has been actively involved in wildlife research for over 30 years, both in the U.S. and abroad. His childhood interests drew him to graduate studies in tropical biology and he has taken and led many natural history trips to tropical ecosystems around the world.

  • For Zoom, on the Monday before the meeting, members will get an email with the link and non-members should email HCBC meetings
